Arborvitae is the plan we'd build for the family that needs room to grow without feeling like they're living in a hotel. The first floor keeps the primary suite and a guest suite at opposite ends of the plan — privacy for the parents, dignity for overnight guests — while the island kitchen and scullery let one cook entertain and another clean up without crossing paths. Upstairs, the rec room with a wet bar gives teenagers and adults each a reason to stay home.
